Indulal Yagnik

 Famous leader of the Indian National Movement from Gujarat, prominent film-maker of 1920s and 1930s and a Member of Parliament from 1952-1972, Indulal Yagnik was closely associated with Mahatma Gandhi and took part in the 'Kaira Satyagraha' along with Sardar Patel. During the Non-Cooperation Movement he was imprisoned for one year at the Yeravada Jail along with Gandhiji. He started the Gujarati monthly Navjivan Ane Sathya which Gandhiji took over in 1919. He produced films like Goddess Mahakali (1928), Ajabhakumari (1929) and Kashmir Nu Gulab (1931).
